Focal-America distributes high-end car speakers through its network of selected authorized dealers and to better protect the best interest of its customers, we do not condone the purchase of any of our products obtained through any unauthorized means or any form of third party online retailers or eBay stores.  In order for our high standards to be met, we authorize only a few specific retailers to sell Focal products over the internet.

The following sites are NOT authorized Focal Retailers and warranties on any Focal products purchased through these companies will not be honored by Focal America:

A few things to consider to protect you:

Misrepresentation:

Just because an online store presents itself as an authorized Focal retailer does not mean that it is. Please verify with our list of Focal authorized online retailers. Showing Focal products on a site is no guarantee either that the retailer is authorized.

Warranty:

Products bought from a non-authorized retailer do not carry the original Focal warranty. This means that if you buy from a non-authorized retailer and you encounter a problem with the product, you will have to go back to that retailer to get help and we cannot guarantee the quality of the assistance you will then receive.

Old or obsolete products:

It is not uncommon for non-authorized retailers to show and sell old or obsolete products they may have acquired from a third party. Here again please make sure you know what you buy. It is easy for you to verify: if a product is current it is shown as current on our web site. Of course you are always welcome to contact us directly, by email or by telephone.

Counterfeit, and defaced products:

You have to be aware that buying from a non-authorized retailer exposes you to possibly purchasing a product that is not a genuine Focal product. At the very least it could be defaced, as we have seen many with serial numbers that have been tampered with or removed all together.

Unfair commerce practices:

Non-authorized retailers do not have the obligation our authorized retailers have to market and sell our products properly. You could be exposed to bait and switch, where one product is advertised but not available, and where you are directed to buy another one, possibly of another brand. You could also see non-authorized retailers advertising products they do not have in stock, they sometimes use that to build up traffic on the reputation of higher end brands. If you buy from a non-authorized retailer and he closes shop shortly after, you will have no recourse. If you buy from one of our authorized retailers and he closes shop, we will be able to support your product and assist you in finding an authorized retailer to help you with your installation or with any other needs you may have.
