Functioning
Contrary to a car installation, an acoustic loudspeaker at home benefits from perfect damping and insulation thanks to its wooden cabinet and its internal acoustic foam. Reaching the same efficiency in a car audio installation actually requires very different means. Focal has worked on a simple and efficient solution and has developed the new B.A.M. panels! They represent the best solution to optimize your vehicle acoustic insulation.

Design
The Focal B.A.M. acoustic complex is a sandwich panel, which is a combination of specific visco-elastic damping and an Aluminum sheet coated with acoustic foam.

Ultra-simple installation
Focal B.A.M. is made of self-adhesive panels that you stick directly on the metal sheet, it’s a material very easy to install.

Maximum efficiency
Butyl absorbs parasite vibrations, whereas Aluminum efficiently reinforces it through a well-defined sandwich effect, the acoustic damping being taken care of by the foam.

Availability
The Focal B.A.M. is sold in 2 different sizes:
- Two 21 x 30cm panels, ref: Focal B.A.M.
- One 50 x 200cm panel, ref: Focal B.A.M. XL

Focal B.R.
For perfect soundproofing of your car door, Focal also offers a Butyl roll. 9mm diameter and 4.5m length that can be divided, the Focal B.R. will enable you to increase the acoustic performance of your car up to the slightest details.
